Dedicated Server Terms
Last updated: 28/10/2026
D1. Delivery
- The server is ordered from the data centre after payment of the first invoice. The delivery times stated in the order are estimates and depend on the availability of the model.
- If the chosen model is not available within 10 business days after the expected delivery date, Eurhosting offers an equivalent alternative or gives a full refund.
- The Service starts, and billing runs, from the time of the order.
D2. Setup fees and minimum term
Any setup fees and the minimum term are stated in the order and are non-refundable.
D3. Withdrawal
The dedicated server is prepared at the Customer's request at a third-party provider. For Business Customers it is not refundable after delivery. For Consumers, section 8 of the General Terms applies: if they withdraw within 14 days, they pay for the part of the Service already provided and the setup fees stated in the order.
D4. Management
The server is unmanaged: the Customer administers the operating system, software, security and data. Eurhosting and the data centre are responsible for the hardware, power supply and network up to the server.
D5. Hardware failures
A hardware failure reported by ticket is handled by the data centre, which normally replaces the faulty component within a few hours. Replacing a disk may result in the loss of the data stored on it: the Customer must configure redundancy (RAID) and backups. Work requested by the Customer that does not relate to a failure may be charged.
D6. Reinstallation and access
Reinstallation deletes all data on the server. Access to the remote console or rescue mode, where provided for the model, is available from the Client Area or on request.
D7. Network and IP addresses
The rules in sections C4, C5 and C6 of the VPS Terms apply. Additional IP addresses are subject to the conditions and charges of the data centre.
D8. Non-payment
For dedicated servers the timescales are shorter, because Eurhosting pays the provider in advance:
- from the third day after an unpaid due date, the server is suspended;
- from the seventh day, the server is cancelled at the data centre and all data is irreversibly deleted.
D9. Cancellation
Cancellation must be notified at least 7 days before the end of the Period, because Eurhosting must cancel the server at the data centre. A cancellation received later takes effect from the end of the following Period.
D10. Availability
Eurhosting and the data centre work to keep the network and power supply available at least 99.7% of the time on a monthly basis. This is a target, not a guaranteed SLA: any lower availability does not entitle the Customer to refunds, credits or compensation.
